Muskilia Weyr
Welcome to Muskilia Weyr. Pern is in the 20th Pass nad the Northen and Southern Continents have become very overcrowded. luckily, some entrpreneuring sailors found a new coninent, the Eastern Continent. However, AVIAS hasn't been found, and will never be, so this new continent needs a Weyr to protect the colonists. So, Muskilia is born. Unfortunately, the Weyrs are short on dragonriders as it is, and so they have only sent a gold ready to rise soon and a few blues and greens and some staff. Its not much of a weyr. The Weyrwoman hopes the promise of ranking positions will draw ambitious young bronzes and browns from other weyrs, and then others will follow. So if you are up for an adventure, you have come to the right place.
The Weyr you have arrived at is situated on the coast in a large extinct volcano crater. It is surrounded by lush meadows, forests and streams that are sparesley populated. This a welcome releif to anyone stuck in the old weyrs which are crowded all around with humanity and not a scrap of untamed nature in sight.
